What to Expect

What is the service like?
Our worships follow the traditional Lutheran format with hymns and order of service coming from the Lutheran service book, along with bible readings and a sermon.  Sunday worship usually lasts about an hour.  We have coffee/snacks/fellowship between services every Sunday.

What if I have questions when I get there?
Prior to each service, Greeters are standing near the entrance.  Please let them know you are visiting, as we have a Visitor bag for you to take home. They are here not only to welcome you to Eternal Hope, but to answer any questions you may have.  Ushers are also standing at the entrance to the sanctuary and are prepared to assist you in any way needed.

Where are you located?
We are easily accessible just north of Highway 610 and the Zane Avenue exit in Brooklyn Park.  10508 Douglas Drive North, Brooklyn Park, MN

May I take communion?
Communion is celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.  Visitors are asked to speak to the Pastor prior to communing.

What about Handicap Accessibility?
The church is Handicap accessible.  Large print bulletins are available.  Personal P.A.s are available for the hearing impaired.

What is the music like?
We sing both traditional hymns and special music during our service.  These are accompanied by organ or piano.

How should I dress?
Feel free to dress in the way you are most comfortable.  Jeans to business casual to shirt and tie are acceptable.

What about my kids?
All children are welcome at services.  We invite children to join us up front for Children's Messages during non-communion services.  We have a crying room at the back of the sanctuary if you need to use it.  There is a speaker in the room so you can hear and see the service.
